You can collect a single metal type or mix different types of scrap in the same container. Sorted scrap is more valuable, so if you can keep copper and aluminium separate it will show in your payout. Lead-acid batteries always go in a dedicated battery collection container.
Hazardous waste, pressure-treated wood and undrained containers holding liquids must not go in the container. If you’re unsure about a particular load, just ask us – we’re happy to advise.
